Marsy’s Law

Oh, goodness. WDRB did not want to stop talking about Marsy’s law in Kentucky. They ran several stories about the act and did not report updates as the story developed. They cited only random victims who were in support of the law and did not ask the perspectives of any politicians who will be voting for or against the act. We have the one fault of, well, not getting multiple sources, and also, the story is redundant and annoying. The initial message was already conveyed and there were NO updates from WDRB. I only saw repeat information. Bad journalism!!! It’s not even elitist or populist, it’s just lazy work. It shows no passion or interest or loyalty to your audience. Instead, WDRB should provide watchers with updated information and multiple opinions from people of different levels of power, not just people who support the act. To do anything else betrays the 10 elements of journalism.
