Relevant Matter Discussed in Class #3

In this post I'm going to discuss hurricanes. Not only Hurricane Florence, but also Hurricane Maria, and all the deaths that were recently discredited by President Trump.
Because of Hurricane Florence, 37 people in total have perished as of now. President Trump has visited survivors and has told them to 'have a good time' eating the meals he was distributing to them. The survivors had waited an hour for those meals, but, okay.
Out of the 37 people who have died, two were from Virginia, eight from South Carolina, and 27 have died in North Carolina, the state that received the hurricane's wrath firsthand. Now, the hurricane has downgraded to a tropical storm, but it is still in effect in other states, and volunteers are still rescuing people from the former hurricane's aftermath.
While the deaths of 37 people still matter, while they still indicate the lives of 37 people lost, this death toll is minuscule in comparison to that of Hurricane Maria. I don't understand how a president could deny the families of 3,000 people acknowledgement. How 3,000 people perished without their leader even recognizing them. It seems inhumane. In fact, it does not just seem so, it is.
I hope that after this storm passes, President Trump will adequately remember those who lost their lives and I hope he will stop wishing a good time upon those who suffered through the floods and rain. Donate to Hurricane Florence victims by searching up the storm on Google and clicking on donate.
